We spent the last 3 nights of our trip in Knaresborough and Glasgow. Knaresborough is the quaint English town where my Aunt and Uncle lived for many years; therefore, Ben and I spent a lot of time in this town and knew that it would be a relaxing last stop. Knaresborough also has one of my favorite restaurants and I have been dreaming of their dessert for months!
Our second day in Knaresborough, we took the train to York and enjoyed a wonderful tea house, some street music, and shopping. We were meant to have dinner with some friends in Knaresborough that night and had to make the early train back. After getting tea, we realized we had to run. We sprinted to the station and watched the train pull away from the platform as we ran up! Bummer, but we made it back to Knaresborough on time for dinner.
Our last night was in Manchester and we definitely enjoyed this visit more than the first. We decided to have our last dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester. Very cool! We love music and were able to see some cool relics.
