Missing the Writing

Well, I really enjoyed having the chance to post a lot this summer but now that school and work are back in session I am incredibly busy. When I do have a chance to post I fell my thoughts are too overwhelmed and sometimes too personal. Days like today, I am drained and have only enough left for my husband, some other days I am so inundated with homework that it seems writing in the blog is another homework assignment. So... sorry for not keeping you all up-to-date on my interesting thoughts and musings, really the only thing that I could write about is politics or baby's and one of those is too close to my heart and the other too close to other people's hearts. Se la vie! Love reading all of your blogs and hearing about your lives!

Weekend Wonderful

Ben and I were able to enjoy a nice day and night away from it all. We took the dog to the kennel and did not worry about work or homework or restraints! We just enjoyed ourselves.

For dinner we went to Rock Bottom Brewery where we enjoyed some good brews and Filet Minon- an excellent treat! Then we stayed at The Inn at Palmer Divide for the night... what a wonderful chance to escape our daily life and enjoy each other without all of the excesses.

Our lives have become so full that sometimes we forget to just look at each other and appreciate th beauty of our life together. We are not quite ready to give up the weekend... maybe a mental health day on Monday?

A Quarter of a Century

On Saturday Ben will turn 25 years old!

My amazing husband has come so far in his years and I love him so much for the man that he has become and the man that he is still becoming.


I love his kindness, generosity, love, and selflessness. Each day, Ben goes to work and teaches kids who have no one else to rely on in their lives. He is patient with them, and with me. I cannot believe my "luck" that I found this man and he found me.



I am the luckiest!
